D + H // Engaged
When Daniel and Heidi asked me to shoot their engagement back in February, I was both honored and humbled. I've known Heidi for close to 12 years and have witnessed her mature from a cheerleader/scenester (remember, hXc bro?) to the wonderful woman she is today. She is like the sister I never had and I am glad to see that Daniel treats her like a princess. That said, I am also incredibly overjoyed that they are becoming one this September.
We had originally planned to hold this engagement session a month prior but the weather did not permit. So we pushed it back another month. Despite the beautiful weather we're having up in here (up in here) lately, we got rained out -- again. What are the chances! But that didn't stop this couple.
I'd like to think that the ridiculousness of the situation is an indication of their forthcoming marriage. Not to say that their marriage will be a storm, but looking ahead I am confident that nothing will stop these two from shining. Rain or thunder, they will keep on. Wet socks or muddy pants, they will smile on. Whatever life will throw at these two, they will press on. I love you both. Thank you for letting me be part of your story.
